Hosted in carbon neutral restaurant Le Pain Quotidien Grand Central West, this event will introduce the new discipline of carbon accounting. 

Arnaud Brohé, CEO of CO2logic Inc. and Professor at Brussels University and Imperial College London, will summarize the key findings of his soon to be released book “A Handbook of Carbon Accounting”. He will share his 12-year experience on the topic and his insights on the GHG Protocol, CDP and carbon markets through a comparison of the latest developments in Europe and Northern America. 

To illustrate the importance of this new discipline, Alberto Gonzalez, COO of Ace Natural, will present his journey towards a lower carbon future. From the implementation of the first energy efficiency measures, to the formalization of the process through the calculation of an extended carbon footprint to their recent achievement of becoming the first carbon neutral foodservice distributor of natural and organic ingredients in the Tri-State area, Alberto will share his learning and passion. 

After the presentations and Q&A, there will be 30 minutes informal time to share around delicious bites from Le Pain Quotidien.
