The CO2-neutral® label
CO2logic and independent 3rd party Vinçotte developed the “CO2-Neutral” label, based on the internationally recognised PAS2060 standard. As opposed to “greenwashing”, this label can only be achieved through serious climate efforts. Since 2007, it guarantees that labelled organisations are actively calculating, reducing and compensating their local and global climate impact.
"By choosing CO2 neutrality you choose to take responsibility for the true impact of your CO2 emissions instead of shifting it to society and future generations"
What we do
The CO2logic Approach
Since 2007 CO2logic has developed a unique approach. It is a simple yet effective 4 step low carbon transition plan providing outstanding results for all types of organisations.
All organisations face different environmental challenges, specific certifications, regulations, reporting, declarations or sector-related accreditation needs. Luckily most certifications (Breeam, Lean & Green, C2C, CO2 Neutral, Leed…) and declarations (EPD, CO2-prestatieladder, CDP, ISO…) require similar entry-points or assessments.
Our climate projects
CO2logic has built important expertise in the assessment & development of climate projects. Supporting climate projects through the offsetting of your organization’s remaining emissions is the third complementary step for a robust climate strategy.
Sodexo offers on-site services (catering, reception, conciergerie, cleaning, etc.), and is a big player on the market of vouchers (e.g. lunch pass, ecocheques, etc.). In the past CO2logic has been working with Sodexo on the climate impact of their on-site services of their own headquarter. As a result of this project, the on-site services have become carbon neutral. Last year however, they went a step further and have been working on the total emissions of the headquarters, as well for on-site services as for the benefits and reward (voucher) departments.
Orange Belgium has been measuring and reducing its carbon footprint together with independent climate consultancy firm CO2logic since 2009, long before the Paris Agreement.
In 2019, Orange Belgium emitted 7.318 tCO2e of greenhouse gasses. This corresponds to 3.064 return flights Brussels-New York, 723 times driving around the world with an average car, or 1.257 ha of new forest needed to capture the same emission in one year.
