It is largely recognized and has been proven by scientists that the increasing amount of greenhouse gases emissions in our atmosphere is causing global warming at an unprecedented rate. If we do not take action to reduce global warming, climate extremes; disruptions to agriculture; extinction of some species of animals and plants; increased disease and pest infestations; rising sea levels; changes in water quality; economic consequences and other effects will become more frequent. This posses a large threats to the web of life, our economy and our society.
