 We can proudly announce that all the renewable energy projects which our participants and clients have helped CO2logic develop are all fully operational and have contributed during 2008 to help combat climate change and minimise local pollution. The first project we supported in Southern India has exceptionally been rewarded the Gold Standard label which is supported by organizations such as WWF and promotes social and sustainable development. The activities of projects 2, 3, and 4 were re-verified by the UNFCCC and they have achieved their objectives of reducing CO2 emissions whilst providing local employment and valuing rural farmers waste.
Using the Bilan Carbone® CO2logic has informed and helped many individuals, charities, politicians and mainly companies drastically reduce their personal carbon emissions in Europe. At the same time we have also helped offset / compensate 20,000 tonnes of CO2 through our four renewable energy projects in the developing world (according to Clean Development Mechanism - Kyoto Protocol). This is the equivalent to avoiding driving 110 million kilometers or 2 745 times round the globe.
