 Global warming is a fact, that is why Frank Vanleenhove from Surfers Paradise has decided to reduce the surfclub's impact on climate change. Surfers Paradise had its CO2 emissions calculated and will, together with CO2logic, look how to reduce these emissions. The CO2 that cannot be reduced will be offset by investing in CO2 reducing projects.
Surfers Paradise has few CO2 emissions but in order to guarantee safety and comfort the club and its members dispose of "rescue" boats, a tractor and a clubhouse. This infrastructure emits CO2 and therefore has an impact on climate change. It is our objective to reduce Surfers Paradise"s CO2 emissions to a minimum, inform and educate its members and to offset the remaining emissions in order to make the club CO2 Neutral.
